Taransay Bowl

This turquoise and vanilla fused glass bowl is made to reflect the colours of the sea and beaches on Taransay. It is made up of squares and rectangles of opal turquoise, vanilla and streaky glass with stunning reactive sterling silver foil to create an accent.

After the initial firing to create the design the bowl is fired again using a ceramic mould to create the bowl shape. This bowl measures 15cm by 15cm and is 3cm deep (the glass itself is a sturdy 6mm thick).
